Oh boy, tempted by yet another Switch game that I already own on PC, but never got around to playing. I’ve actually gotten through a few indie titles thanks to the Switch’s flexibility, so I may buy this again.

Since you’ve already beat the game before and received those achievements, maybe there’s no official achievement activity since you can’t double dip on the same game. The Switch showing an achievement unlocked in those places could then be considered a bug, but just a theory, who knows!

I had no idea this was essentially remakes of the red and blue on Game Boy. I thought it was a take on the Pokémon Go Mobile game (since I had seen the poke ball for sale as well). That Pokémon Blue was my childhood, I need this nostalgia in my life. Thank you for pointing that out.

There have been MFi controllers available for the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV for years. Some of the early ones were missing L3/R3 functionality, but the more recent iOS updates have added this to MFi specs. I personally have a Rotor Riot branded controller that has all button functionality, including L3 and R3 on the

But the Switch already had its 2 year anniversary. By the time this comes out it’ll be well over 2.5 years, going on 3. I guess people could have skipped the Switch and wait ~3 years to get the second gen.

For those that want native L3/R3 functionality, check out the Rotor Riot controller for iOS (they also make an android version).

I posted about a controller option on here with my impressions, but here is a newer wired controller with L3 and R3 buttons. You’re right that the older ones don’t have it since it wasn’t always supported.

Pro tip: Most certified mfi controllers out now do not have clickable L3 and R3 sticks. That’s because Apple only recently (within the last couple major iOS cycles) introduced L3 and R3 compatibility, so there was no need for them. I bought this particular one from Amazon, which claims to be the first mfi controller

I am curious, how soon do you know if you were tipped or not? And is that time frame the same on Uber and Lyft? I don’t ride often, but I always tip when I remember to go back to the app to interact with it after the ride.

Dear God, a bottom bezel AND a notch.

I get that this is supposed to be humorous, but to not give games a fair shot is a problem that many games can suffer unfairly from. I’m sure people could list off so many games that require getting over a hump in the beginning to truly enjoy it. But I suppose hating on a popular game is cool, and gets clicks.

make sure that you are buying it as sold and shipped by amazon. third party sellers can list on the page as well, and the reviews, unfortunately, all go under the same listing. it is likely that third party sellers tried to sell theirs as authentic when the real ones were out of stock from amazon.

I went from series 0 to series 4. Do it. The molasses slow loading of apps, the constant spinning wheels, especially is third party apps, is not normal. I figured it was normal, but now I see what normal should be. A no brainer for a series 0 upgrade. I mean, there are plenty of comments from those who praise the

I think cell version is the coolest thing, being able to leave your phone at home for a quick errand, or for a run. But for me, those cool moments were few and far between. Not enough for me to pay $10 (plus taxes and fees since phone companies consider it an additional line, so add $2-4 more). It’s unfortunate that

If you are going month by month, you can still do this since signing up for a year is considered an upgrade.

No, the article has a decent section and opinion on this.

I had a previous post asking if the XS Max is really just stretched out when compared to the XS. this article says “... Apple simply stretched iOS out to fit the bigger canvas. In other words, you’re seeing what you would normally see on a Plus screen except it’s stretched out.” This is wrong. While you can have it be

Is the XS Max really just a stretched out screen versus the XS? The resolutions are different iPhone XS (2,436 x 1,125) and the XS Max (2688 x 1242). When I would compare the 6S to the 6S plus, you did see more of a website, more lines of text, etc. It was different. Maybe that’s not the case anymore, maybe I am

Why not recommend unlocked that can work on any carrier? Good for short-term options, and re-sale value.
