I got my 01 Legacy with 220k miles and the HG was leaking (but not mixing). 5 years later, still running fine.

That was Criswell (closer to DC):

Subaru makes (currently) a WRX wagon, but SOA decided we didn’t want it:

Haima was still making the Protege in 2012

Those seats look great, it’s an AWD wagon and it’s got a brown steering wheel.

That’s why it’s a lot tougher for the younger generations. All of the crap I did as a teenager, glad there were no smartphones (or even cell phones with cameras) to record it.

My sister was going to name her daughter “Moonbeam” or something along those lines. Thankfully when she was born their thinking had evolved to Sarah.

In the Mid-00s I would argue they were THE enthusiast brand

The FB engines don’t have the headgasket issue that EJ25 owners experienced.

Shame, my last two new cars have been those. Give me a base manual anyday.

This or

Hogan got re-elected so there’s that.

RIP good sir.

Rising Sun checks out.

He drove a 80s Lincoln Towncar in the “Murder” episode so fairly close.

And a cameo in the movie too

He has the Uncle Rico look going for him...

Absolutely true, two of my cars are a 01 Legacy Wagon and 03 Outback. But it feels wierd to consider a new Impreza as they are around the same power rating.

I don’t like the newer ones with CVTs, integrated infotainment and an electric emergency brake for sure. They designed out the quirk that brought so many enthusiasts. Better for the company though.
