I had a friend that lived on a farm, had some farm vehicles around that I drove when I was 15. Still remember the fun of flying down a dirt road in a ‘83 Malibu.

I was talking about this to a friend recently, as auto trans cars became more available there were some families that only owned autos and thus their kids never had the opportunity to learn manual. I’m glad my parents both drove stick, helped encourage the car nut in me. Have only owned manual cars for over 20 years…

So you would dismiss the STI because of it’s interior? That’s the worst part of the car.

My daily is a 01 Legacy wagon. All the practicality but also a 5 speed stick. I am going to be bummed when I have to replace it though....

This is the way I feel, especially with growlers. But I probably do have a problem, have a 2k+ sq ft. house in the boonies by myself. All of my married friends say they are jealous.

The Mazda BP was a great engine.

I had a coworker that got one of those and was so proud. For 2001, I remember it as “okay” when it was new. Didn’t take long before he started having issues.
