My Aunt is a Sharon and I’ve met plenty of other black Sharons. I didn’t know there were white Sharons for a large portion of my upbringing, and I didn’t grow up in any majority black towns or neighborhoods. I think it’s more of a “where you from” name than a “race specific” name.
