I started playing it on the 4th and it’s not a particularly long game. 5 islands, with one of them just being a series of tower platform challenges.

I beat the game a few days ago. Not sure why, but I was compelled to keep going once I started playing.

That “friendly CIA agent” is actually a big part of the Black Panther stories from the comics, so I’m not sure I’d count his presence as a Corporate Mandate. Here’s a fun quote from Christopher Priest, writer of the original stories that were adopted for the first film:

I’ve been playing all weekend and that’s EXACTLY what it is, but it doesn’t quite hit Mario Odyssey levels of fun or provide an extremely enjoyable gameplay experience. It’s fun and the speed feels great, but it does approach tedium pretty quickly.

Nah it’s not just you. Mime jr and Eevee are both rare spawns on the plains. I must have left and came back like 15 times to get more Eevee spawns to get ready to do all evolutions.

There are WAAAAAAAAY more than 4-6 species that you can catch in that part of the area before crossing that bridge. I thought there were only a few too until I just started wandering around. I think I ended up finding close to 30 in just Aspiration Hill, Horseshoe Plains, and Floaro Gardens between the day and night…

I’m not sure what not having critical thinking skills has to do with it. And as far as I was taught, rinsing your meat is not about cleaning germs off the chicken. It is to get off anything you don’t want to cook. Ya know, stuff like slimy bits, hanging fat, blood, skin, and feathers.

Forgot to add something. We’re still only a few days into having a PS4 Jailbreak this close to current FW version. All previous PS4 Jailbreaks were on FW that were several versions behind current.

That was PS3 days and it involved more than just spoofing. Not quite the same on PS4.

I haven’t personally jumped into any game file modding on the PS4, but depending on the game it should work similar to how it does on PC. I’m sure Skyrim on PS4 could be modded to similar wild effects.

Stuff that’s tamper averse would probably still require somebody to figure out a workaround, if possible.

Yes. You have access to internal files and can mod them if you have the tools.
