I highly recommend Big Damn Heroes, which is part of the Earth-2 family. They’ve actually gone through all of Whedon’s works, starting with Buffy (it’s currently on hiatus til whenever they decide to cover Agents of SHIELD season 3).

He’ll probably focus on touring/promoting his new album (which I was pleasantly surprised by), and I suspect it’ll be a little easier for him to land those TV jobs (fun fact: both he and Reneé Elise Goldsberry appeared on The Good Wife, though she played a recurring character).
