I’m also in California and am hardly a professional on state taxation, much less those of states I have never lived in but states do have wildly different tax policies (seven states don’t even have an income tax). I would imagine that any state taxes would be less comprehensive than federal tax returns.

In other huge news, New York has passed a law allowing them to release State Tax Returns to Congressional Committees. Seeing as this is Trump’s home state, they can release his state taxes, which would have much of the same info as his federal returns.
