So Congress did order him to appear but short of sending goons to his office and forcibly hauling him to congress they can’t really force him to appear, and even then he could whine like a baby and choose not to answer questions.

I was mistakenly under the impression that Congress could request an appearance or order one, with the two being distinct with the latter carrying legal weight behind it and that Barr’s appearance was the result of the former.

Barr’s office has officially refused to comply with a subpena to release the unredacted report, so someone’s gonna have to leak it

And now Barr’s cancelled his appearance before the House committee, supposedly because they couldn’t agree on a format for the appearance and absolutely NOT because he’s a damn lackey fool trying to defend some naked ass kissing at the public’s expense

So updating the USS Truman will be cheaper than ordering a new carrier...but we’re doing both anyways
