They may go with The Defenders, with stories centered around alternating characters...just give me Daughters of the Dragon and I’ll be happy.
That was my very first thought as well.
I’m no expert, but I think that’s pretty complicated.
Yeah, I get the sneaking suspicion that these cancellations are much more Marvel/Disney and much less Netflix.
If they do it obviously won’t be these exact versions. Netflix owns the episodes they showed and Disney has said the stuff on their service will be family friendly, PG-13 at the worst. I could see them taking the actors and doing new versions of these shows. My only hope is if that happens that maybe they’ll get big…
is Jessica Jones still stuck in her studio apartment/office?
There will be no mature content on Disney +
It’ll be really sad if they tone down these shows for kids. It will be fucking terrible actually. Hopefully they don’t do that
Iger has said they will not have TV-MA or R Rated content on the Disney service, but there will be R Rated and TV-MA rated content on Hulu. Either these shows get watered down and put on Disney streaming (doubtful), they move to Hulu (likely), or they are completely dead (likely for some and less likely for others).
And now I have to post this....again.
Disney will, reportedly, not be hosting ANY R-rated content on the new service. All of the Netflix/Marvel shows are TV-MA, equivalent to R, so they’re all a no-go unless they’re sanitized, and at that point why bother? They wouldn’t be the shows people like (or don’t, in the case…
These shows all bled viewers like crazy between seasons.
It’s not a conspiracy, Disney is going to put proper Marvel shows like Loki on their service.
Not saying it can’t happen, but the numbers were not there.
Doubt it, they want family friendly shows, but then again they have The Mandalorian, so who knows, I just hope they don’t let them die like this
I watched Phenomena for the first time a couple years ago and when the Flash of the Blade sequence revved up, I was in heaven.
All good. “Evergreen” is actually the only episode of the 2002 series that I remember.
to be fair, House actually admitted several times that he knew he was an asshole, and got beat up (and shot, if I recall) a few times on the show because he was an asshole.
There was an interesting experiment that someone suggested, so I tried it. Something that you can also apply to other “comedy” shows.
I don’t think I’ve watched a full episode, but from what I saw, they’d always randomly namedrop some science, comic, game, or movie reference, and then cue the laugh track. The punchline to every joke is, “Oh I get it, it’s because they’re nerds! Hahahahaha!”
It seemed like what the “cool kids” in high school thought of the nerds, only it’s somehow meant to be a positive view.
