To be fair, it’s hard to make a good comedy anything. Most comedy movies, sitcoms, plays, light operas, sketch shows, standup routines, novels, comic books and strips, satire news stories, and twitter memes are not funny.

I'm so glad Game Freak is paying attention to Gen 1 Pokemon. They are so underused and never advertised at all. Especially Pikachu and Charizard. Those two have not had any focus at all in 20 years. Hopefully we can continue to get regional variants and new forms for Gen 1 and only Gen 1 for the next decade.

As someone who got several world first raid boss clears back in vanilla, this isn’t exactly a new problem. People hunted me and my guild mates all the time and many came to our server because it was the one with the best guild.

I’m not saying that having more emotes from diverse races is a bad idea. I don’t see how that would help solve the problem? Won’t it just give racists more images to choose from when spamming when a streamer says “gorilla” or whatever? Which would in turn make more work for the streamers to ban the emotes?

Playing as anyone sounds cool I guess but it runs the risk of making the characters frivolous. I hope there’s still a primary protagonist and that this is optional or part of a larger metagame.
