Thanks for this.

+1 star-sprent sky.

This point about campaigns being more of a merit hierarchy (made by both PaintedTrollop and PickleAndGunner) sounds worthwhile to me. I admit that exactly zero percent of my own political experience was on campaigns.

Elegantly described. Thanks for this.

I want to state this as generally as possible so it's clear I'm not talking about anyone in particular — but isn't it outstandingly common in politics for folks to be hired for reasons other than their knowledge?

Marvelously said.

In any dispute where photos of the combatants are involved, April Flores is going to win going away.

Can't figure out why James LeGros didn't work more after that movie. He was phenomenal!

Brad Pitt really did make some outstanding movies during the 1990s. Whatever else he was struggling with, some of those choices he made and efforts he put forth did result in excellent work.

Promoted for being outstandingly on-point. This is the question. It may not have a legal solution, or any solution — but you've eloquently laid out all of the major issues worth considering here.

The part that baffles me is doing it on a golf course. I just don't have that kind of accuracy with my wood shots.

Okay, folks: Twizzlers, who's got 'em?

I get so fucking tired of everyone assuming that women only get breast implants because they are caving to all the crushing pressure of our culture's current beauty standards....The ability to grow large natural breasts isn't virtuous and we shouldn't concern/pity troll women who decide to get implants.
