Oh, I have seen and loved BeBop, and wish there were two more seasons of it.

Loot cave patch? A couple of days

Last week's release of the free-to-download Disney Infinity 2.0 was just the tip of the Disney PC gaming iceberg. Today Disney Interactive has released a whopping 21 titles on Steam, from traditional children's fare to arcade racing action. What's worth checking out?

*slowclap*

The Sims 4 is getting three big additions in as many months, developer Electronic Arts just announced. The first, launching today, brings ghost Sims back into the mix. Next month, the game will get swimming pools. And come December, Sims will get some new careers. All will be free for Sims 4 players.

Oddly enough, the U-Build Monopoly actually has a surprising amount of strategy, and would be the version I'd recommend if you are forced at gunpoint to play some breed of Monopoly for some reason.

Hang on. Wielding the ring of power (the one ring that rules them all) and fighting Sauron, the most important super-villain in all Lord of the Rings lore? Aren't those two of the most important things I'd be looking for in a quality LOTR video game? Why are they tucked away as extra downloadable content, for which I

The twist is, there's a lane system, which makes the game sound like it's taking a cue or two from MOBAs. Then again, plenty of 2D brawlers have had players move between foreground and backgrounds parts of the stage, so maybe this is just Slick's evolution of that.

Seeing this makes me wish for a Quantum Redshift 2...

Before you ask: yes, it's a Gamecube controller. Of course it is. What else would it be?

Very true, but this is why I'm not as fond of 5e as I am of 4e. I can't recall any instances in 4e where the DM had to step in and make the party jump through a bunch of hoops in order to make sure one class wasn't dominating the encounters.

Oh, I can see the 4e DNA*, as much as WotC tried to hide it under the proverbial carpet. Currently, the biggest obstacle for my players is their detest of the unweildy spell list, and the biggest one for me as DM is worrying about having to cater specifically to spellcaster characters to keep everything running

This isn't trying to illustrate who-can-kill-who, but rather which classes are the most capable overall. Wizards have ridiculous utility, and can fill basically any martial class role with the right spell selection.

Looking through the monster stats, and most of them appear to have defenses ranging from 10 to around 18-20 (Due to the upper-limit bounding in 5e, a design paradigm I quite like). I simply chose a value in the middle for illustrative purposes, although let me know if overall this is too low/high.

True, it's not close to where it used to be, but it is a measurable and distinct advantage (Don't forget too that the wizards have an array of AoE attacks that can dish out that load of damage to a wide spread of targets).

Really? Or do they just have the option to splice into minimal spell use through a Feat?

As a DM, I absolutely loved how easy it was to create monsters and encounters on the fly, and how easy it was to scale monsters up and down. 4e has the absolute best monster blocks of any D&D edition so far, including those of 5e (Although 5e is a notable step up from 3e). Being able to make a balanced combat

Well, while you have to weigh the probability of failed saves, there's also the AoE to consider as well. A fireball is 8d8, but in a burst that could potentially wipe out several enemies instead of just one.
