I’d say the only reason he’d be less of a risk these days is because he’s so high-profile.  Lord knows the world is still a plenty chaotic place where he’d have no problem finding opportunity.  I also doubt he would be getting paroled.

Yeah, that makes the most sense, though I think it will end up being a 2 for 2 swap.  It wouldn’t be shocking at all if Whelan was a western spy.

If they can get both Griner and Whelan out in exchange for Bout, that would be great.
