India has cows walking loose through major cities, air that is unbreathable and literally killing its people, and shantytowns as far as the eye can see. Its one of the worst countries in the world by almost every measure. So sure, waste billions to go to space for no reason, that will help the country.

Having been to India, I don’t see that plan as being realistic at all. I’ll be happy to be proven wrong though.
