I’m not surprised (unfortunately) with the behavior displayed at some mechanic shops/Dealerships. It’s unacceptable of course and this dealership clearly fails to do anything right by harassed employees (whether its sexual or not). To me it seems some cultural change needs to happen not only with in the confines of

I agree with you on the brand power, but the brands image will continue to take hits if there Autonomous features continue to Kill people and quality issues persist, you can’t shake that off forever. Also, last time I checked an Iphone didn’t kill someone using a feature that was promoted and listed as an option from

This is Jalponik and Jalopnik comment sections. No real context of history or market or information is needed. Just push your biased opinion and treat its like fact.

I think people confuse the LFX and the LLT since the LLT ,which does have timing change issue, was in use in the high production Lambada platform crossovers up to 2017. That overlap and them have the same displacement imo is why people keep pinning the LFX with the timing chain issue, when this isn’t the case. LY7 and

Since when, that was the LLT or the LY7, I don’t here anyone claiming the LFX eats timing chains. Usually someone confuses the GM the LLT that was still produced up to 2017 in the Lambada platforms for “eating” timing chains. I’ve heard/read literally nothing about the LFX eating timing chains. I know own one!

Yeah, I’ve noticed this as well. My eyes roll every time I see this now. The supposedterrible” quality and it’s “garbage” or it doesn’t have the chops to back it up...and nothing has changed.. etc. Then I just Go to articles only a couple years back and see praise and appreciation for the product, or it’s on par or

I think your missing my tone. I’m agreeing with you about there isn’t a good replacement for the LS. The cheap turbos are a bonus to being able to make big power and the LS gobs it up without issue.

Not saying they are a great replacement for the LS. Nor did I claim it was. So cool. As the person just mentioned above me they are all aluminium, lighter than a v8 (by 55lbs to 80lbs in some cases), in a lot of GM vehicles (so I wouldn’t say they are not available just not popular in the mod community) Granted they

You need to specify and not generalize on which engine your claiming to be a “junk”. It seems to be pretty common that any GM 3.6 must be the same from 8-15 years ago. Which this isn’t the case. LFX and LGX don’t use the same chain design or guides and have different suppliers to the pile of junk that is the LLT and

How dare you speak rationally and logically. You must choose a side, a clear “winner” in each segment and all others must be utter and complete failures.

No.

All good dude, Ford made the right move, going head to head with the Model Y is the path to go.

All of these takes are garbage, you picking winners over bias opinions and really no real context or concept of product release dates and ramp up. You already declaring Ford’s product to be a success when a single one hasn’t been sold. They won’t hit the road till 2021 and the higher trim model till 2022. Your

That depends on which 3.6 you referring too. The LLT which was in older GM models had timing chain issues that were seen in high mileage vehicles most cases due to people not changing their oil. I have 3.6L ATS LFX no record of timing chain issues with newer v6s but since CR’s survey covers 2009-2019 some of those

I think its the touch haptic Controls that people are frustrated with, which drags them down until all models using it are gone since this survey was done for 2019 CTS, ATS, Escalade still use Haptic touch. New CUE has improved in all fronts mainly due to using real buttons for HVAC controls and so forth.

Cool.

Not sure what you are pointing out, but yeah the hate is strong here so don’t think you would stop hating it. I’m sure you will try to drive your point even harder. You do you.

Couldn’t disagree with you more and putting up all those photos really shows how nice the CT5 looks cpillar blah still looks good. Sorry.

Just want to chime in, Design /GM designers, FCA designers, Ford etc, and most of design is not UAW. Parts of design staff were under UAW, but designers themselves are not. Certain divisions of Clay sculpting and Digital Sculpting have unions but these days a majority don’t. Design doesn’t not share the same benefits.

Quirky in a positive way!?!
