The argument would be they’re still making a profit, but they’re trading profit margin to move more units.

Yesssssssss!
I’ll be testing this next month. My hybrid Maverick is due to appear on the local dealer’s lot sometime mid-April. Paperwork and agreement to pre-order said we’d be going sticker price.
Not built into my car, but any time I have to drive into Boston (mostly due to inconvenience of the train schedule) I use SpotHero to pick a parking lot/garage prior to the event. Just this Sunday I saw the Celtics play and parked over by Mass General for $15. Some garages recognize the plate on the reservation but…
Won't the trustafarians traveling between Goose and Dead & Co. shows buy these in droves?
Tesla didn't make the list of Gen Z automakers? Sort of a shocker.
Community colleges and technical training centers are trying to prepare the future workforce for these needs:
My wife loves her new ID.4. It’s a very nice vehicle and more luxe than anything I’ve ever purchased before. She’s coming from a 2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring with almost 200k miles, so there is some new car wow factor. But she really likes how quiet it is, how “zippy” it is. The thing pulls well merging onto the highway…
Electrify America and Chargepoint both have card readers around me, but you need cards that tap. And they allow Google Pay or Apple Pay. Both seem to work well in my limited experience. Got the apps as well, mostly because I need the app to get the free Electrify America charging that came with my ID 4.
Not sure where you are, but Lucid opened a showroom in Boston. Noticeable enough that personalities on local sports radio have talked about it on air. That’s probably about as good as you can do regarding getting the word out.
Right, but that McDonald’s location is on the Mass Turnpike. If you’re on that stretch of the Pike, you have 40+ miles to the next exit/rest stop.
All of upstate New York has affordable cities like Syracuse. If you can make it work for you, there are some real gems.
Well, maybe refunds.
Here’s about the most definitive take on how well Andor did as a streaming property:
Sorry, no refunds. Tesla already started to recognize FSD revenue to help with the quarterly numbers.
Agreed. Not the best dealer experience, but their main EV expert was out sick when I was going through the purchase. Actually, the dealer was short handed overall due to a bunch of people out sick.
I don’t like the way you control the audio etc, but my wife has no issue with it. She’s got it all set up and for a lot of things you’d like to do, the voice commands work well. All my wife’s friends love it. That I don’t get, but we got the red and I think the big glass roof impresses. My wife loves the way it handles…
The ID branding definitely works for the US. My wife now dailies an ID.4 and she couldn’t have named a single VW model other than the ID.4. When we were at the dealer she kept asking me what’s this one, what’s this one? VW was just not on the front of her mind. But she really liked the fit and finish of the ID.4. We…
I wonder if there are any pricing concessions for opening up these chargers. I could see a world where Tesla chargers open up, but charge far more for a non-Tesla to connect.
Oh sure. And it’s much easier to have a buddy or AAA show up with a can of gas. With EVs it seems like it’s a tow situation if you loose juice.
