And now all the young types would much, much prefer the 1993 model.  My nieces of driving age all want old school looking pick up trucks.

Turkey day at home. My mother-in-law will come over, and while she’s older and thus at higher risk, her daughter is tested 2x per week for COVID at work. Our family is basically clean with her as a proxy and disciplined with the mask behavior. Without the testing it would like just be our household.

Do airbags ever expire? I have a 12 year old Mazda 3 that runs great and the only thing I wonder about is if the airbags will still work as expected. Only reason I would get a new car is that safety concern.

What?

That’s why the Christian Scientists always have my respect.  They talked the talk and walked the walk.  There are also almost no Christian Scientists left and Wayfair mostly funds it’s remnants by leasing out it’s prime Boston real estate.

That’s weakness.  We achieve enlightenment through suffering.  Join us.  The Runners.

Especially when you consider that the Cybertruck isn’t a real product that will be made.

Bingo.  But the real play for Uber was to destroy all other transportation business and establish a monopoly.  Once that happens they raise prices to the moon.  That’s the real stupid story.  Autonomous vehicles just keeps the investment rounds flowing and the stock price chugging.  See also: Tesla.

Yes, because making physical things is just like making software to track quarterly sales goals.

He had to start doing lots of online things to distract from all his various connections to Ghislaine Maxwell and the entire Epstein orbit.

Here you go: https://www.roadandtrack.com.  Look at that, you can stop mewling about how people write and just read something else.

Totally agree. The Fusion is a good looking sedan. Bummed that Ford ditched cars.

Apparently it was an early example of what we in Boston call “Storrowing”.

40k Euro is a really expensive car that most people can’t afford.  With that as the floor, this continues to be a massive give away to affluent customers.  I would love to see free yearly public transportation for those that can’t afford such an expensive vehicle.

Can’t wait for the first courtroom dispute over automated data. What do you mean the audit logs don’t go down to the millisecond?

Is that really a limitation in a dense urban environment?  I realize some folks need door to door service, but that’s a fraction of the population that can walk a bit to their final destination.
