Uber does dictate when they work. It does not allow drivers to see their passengerss destination until the pick up is made. It should show this so drivers can decline long rides without penalty.

Perhaps.  But it is often a requirement to put a roof over your head and some food on the table.  Unfortunately it doesn’t always provide enough money for routine vehicle maintenance.

Plus they’ll spray your undercarriage with old motor oil to prevent corrosion!

$35 annually, but it does give me some piece of mind. It’s not a perfect system by any means, and a lot can happen in a year. Then again, I live near RI which has bi-annual inspections. My favorite part of the RI inspection process is that many of the locations where one can get this done are in fact in Massachusetts.

Given that it’s chain driven, I’d say this is 100% correct.

Ha!  I had about a 5 mile commute on a combined subway/bus ride (Longwood to Watertown) and I would have been better served walking home.  Subways? Packed.  Buses?  Packed and not moving.  I think it took me four hours to get home.  In the summer I would ride my bike to work in 20 minutes.  That day was a FUCKING

Honestly though?  It’s a Mazda.  Zoom, zoom!

The Versa is a bad car.  I had a newer one as a rental recently and it was worse than my ten year old Mazda 3 in all respects.  MPG?  Worse.  Comfort?  Worse. Handling?  Worse.   Literally nothing on this new rental was better than anything on my 10 YO hatch.  Well, maybe the cleanliness of the seats and the wear on

I’m a huge Mazda-stan, but I find their interiors to be well thought out and completely functional. Functions have a less is more ethos. Dials, buttons, and controls are all streamlined (I have a 2009 3 and a 2016 6).

Imagine if Tesla just did the software and batteries (well, Panasonic) and Mazda did the rest? Zoom fucking zoom!

Shit, I also don’t know about this show. I guess I’m peak Burneko demo.

We're onto pumpkin picking this week. Yeah, not gonna talk about apples. Any questions about pumpkins?

They became a stock manipulation company that dabbled in engineering and manufacturing.

And I would think that carcinogens appearing in most of our medicines due to outsourcing their manufacture (mostly to China) would grab headlines every single day.  Yet here we are.

Existence is not proof of legality.  Lack of enforcement of existing laws could be the reason why these devices exist and continue to persist.

Well, if you NEED to nebulize, by all means do so under proper medical supervision. But if you’re just vaping down that blueberry lemonade cush at the Mash Tun? Stop that! Personally, I only do that once a year.

This line of thinking is solid. You can’t (to my knowledge) gamble online over high school sports, but I’m well aware of bookies in bars in Metrowest Boston that take action on amateur sports and set lines. What we might have here is an epidemic of Pete Rose clones trying to cover the spread and hit the under.

It’s really about undermining labor at every corner. Manufacturing vehicles in Mexico saves little in the way of labor, but a substantial amount in tariffs.
