Bingo.  You’ll see more Merc wagons at any yacht club around coastal New England.  Hell, I saw about 7 in Jerusalem when I was on vacation.  And that’s a tiny town in South Kingstown, RI.

I tend to get new running shoes every 6 months on this premise.  I think it’s cheaper to save my joints that try to figure out when to replace shoes.

I would avoid the averages as they can be misleading. The rich can buy really overpriced cars that can goose those statistics. Just lump all car sales together and you find that average price declines dramatically to around ~$25k

Yes, because making physical things is just like making software to track quarterly sales goals.

He had to start doing lots of online things to distract from all his various connections to Ghislaine Maxwell and the entire Epstein orbit.

Here you go: https://www.roadandtrack.com.  Look at that, you can stop mewling about how people write and just read something else.

Totally agree. The Fusion is a good looking sedan. Bummed that Ford ditched cars.

Apparently it was an early example of what we in Boston call “Storrowing”.

40k Euro is a really expensive car that most people can’t afford.  With that as the floor, this continues to be a massive give away to affluent customers.  I would love to see free yearly public transportation for those that can’t afford such an expensive vehicle.

Can’t wait for the first courtroom dispute over automated data. What do you mean the audit logs don’t go down to the millisecond?

Is that really a limitation in a dense urban environment?  I realize some folks need door to door service, but that’s a fraction of the population that can walk a bit to their final destination.

Uber does dictate when they work. It does not allow drivers to see their passengerss destination until the pick up is made. It should show this so drivers can decline long rides without penalty.

Perhaps.  But it is often a requirement to put a roof over your head and some food on the table.  Unfortunately it doesn’t always provide enough money for routine vehicle maintenance.

Plus they’ll spray your undercarriage with old motor oil to prevent corrosion!

$35 annually, but it does give me some piece of mind. It’s not a perfect system by any means, and a lot can happen in a year. Then again, I live near RI which has bi-annual inspections. My favorite part of the RI inspection process is that many of the locations where one can get this done are in fact in Massachusetts.

Given that it’s chain driven, I’d say this is 100% correct.

Ha!  I had about a 5 mile commute on a combined subway/bus ride (Longwood to Watertown) and I would have been better served walking home.  Subways? Packed.  Buses?  Packed and not moving.  I think it took me four hours to get home.  In the summer I would ride my bike to work in 20 minutes.  That day was a FUCKING

Honestly though?  It’s a Mazda.  Zoom, zoom!
