Taxi companies could easily compete with Uber if they were allowed to burn through billions of dollars of investor cash and skirt local regulations as well as insurance and labor laws.

Wrong.

He already got paid, time to hit the all you can eat juicy lucy joints in MPLS.

I blame the shooting on Wiggins.  There is a very long off-season where the best pros get better at their craft.  At least marginally raise your three point shooting percentage.  Coaching or not, some open looks need to go down to be relevant today.  Or you better be Marcus Smart and flop and play your ass off every

I’d probably get fatter, to really emphasize how little I like hoops. Wiggins physical condition suggests he cares a little bit. You have to go full Kemp to really crap on the fanbase.

A little bit, but go back to the dark ages of the Jim O’Brien Celtics. They were the first NBA team that I could remember having a green light from downtown. Unfortunately that meant Antoine Walker jacking horrible shots, but O’Brien allowed that as long as the team dug in on defense, which they certainly did. This SI

A Ford Edge has estimated 29 mpg highway, not bad.  The Ecosport has the same with better city mileage.  It’s really not that big a penalty fuel economy wise to switch to a fatter hatchback, errr, SUV/CUV.  Price wise for a new model, maybe, but I suspect they could offer a lower trim with slightly less engine to

I still don’t like intentionally fouling poor free throw shooters.  I think if you foul an off the ball player, the fouled team should get the option to inbound or shoot the free throws.  Even when it’s done against shooters that are good, it still slows the end of games too much.

I’m an old timer, so I loved those grind it out games.  But the NBA leadership rightly said only die hards like this game while realizing they would never lose the die hards by dialing back hard core defense.

At least at the NBA level, the rules made it much easier to be a defender.  You could hand check and moving screens were called pretty tightly.  You had a better chance of scoring by getting to the line or dumping it into the post to a player who could reliably draw double teams.  The NBA has consistently made it

Not only are the content choices vast, the home systems are pretty damn good. Large HD screens, cheap decent sound systems etc.

Mr. Regular launched his Podcast by coming in hot on the PA battle.

Oh my god.  It could reach Boston any minute now!  Save yourselves my Masshole brethren.  Get to Star Market for bread, eggs, and milk ASAP!

A real bummer for me this summer was finding out one of my good friends loves Pod Save America. I had not heard of Pod Save America know back in August. But my friend put it on during a 4+ hour drive, and oh man, it is so fucking bad. It’s entire premise seems to be that this country had no problems until Trump came

They sure do charge a tax. Many beyond the 10% VAT proposed here. The federal fuel tax has not risen since the nineties.

See Stockton for unremarkable game but huge stats:

Ho boy. Sounds like a disaster:

The highlight truthers never quit.

And people wonder why I quit all team sports by the end of sophmore year.  The golf team was the tamest of the hazers.  They just forced you to drink and toke up out on the links, which was something that 14/15 year old me was not really cool with.

I’d probably sit out the rest of the season after destroying Kentucky.  Didn’t really hurt Kyrie’s prospects in the draft when he got injured.
