The dealership model works well for the manufacturers. They get to sell product as it rolls off the line, the product is readily accessible to the vast buying public almost anywhere in the world, and they don’t have to pay for a large network of building to provide warranty service and manage recalls.

My kids get preseason school reps next week here in Massachusetts.  Two days next week.  September really eases them in with the holidays stacked up.  They don’t go a full week until the end of September.

And as the precocious 10 yo starts to learn more about the world she decided the NBA is now the MNBA. So we have the MNBA and WNBA in this household.
