That’s kind of a problem with BvS, it has good scenes shoved into a bad story with bad dialogue and go absolutely nowhere. I agree with the point, but I hate the joke itself. The “Character says non-PC thing, only to be shown talking about something completely different from what the audience expects” bit is as old as the idea of being PC, and hasn’t gotten any better with time.
