I really want a second season. If only to have these characters get to a resolution. I don't need a happy ending per se, but I want everyone to realize the consequences of their actions.

Portia got me. Great job, Meredith Hagner.

There's a rumor floating around that Disney wants to buy Netflix. If by some miracle that actually happens, we may see it return in some form.

Gotcha, thanks for the info. I would be a little more optimistic based on all of it. I think NBC (and network TV as a whole) has finally gotten over their tendency to slaughter shows that aren't doing as well as expected. I've been enjoying Timeless much more than both of NBC's previous ratings bait (which have

I'm hoping the cancellation of the abysmal Conviction means Peggy Carter will ride again.

Haven't seen it. Heard good things.

Is Timeless really that in danger of not getting a second season?

In no specific order, my top 15:

Thought I'd use this thread to ask folks' opinions on a couple new 2016 shows that AVC isn't covering. They don't belong on any best of list by my account, but I'd like to know what others are thinking about these shows:

Chicago, go see SPACE TITANIC early and for freeeeee

Well, in my opinion, her being a public figure means the persona she presents us with is always relevant if we're talking about her. She's cultivated an image of being a sexed-up vixen who coyly eyes every camera like she's daring us to not ogle her. I don't necessarily have a problem with it (different discussion),

People (read: teens watching vids online) have smaller and smaller attention spans. This way, they're telling us what the ad is for up front.

I'm stoked for this movie. Can't wait to see it. I bought the soundtrack today and it's been playing nonstop.

We are all Chris Pratt listening to this story. We know she means nothing mean-spirited, but we also know she needs to shut her fucking mouth.

Interesting you say that, because I'd argue it's the other way around for the exact same reasons. It's Complicated's central conflict is between exes who simply can't keep it in their pants. They're both pursuing other relationships throughout as well, which makes them look like awful people. The subplot with Meryl

Counterpoint: It's Complicated, Nancy Meyer's follow-up to this one. The white people in it are waaaaay more white than they are here. One of them is Meryl Streep for Christ's sakes!

I cry like a baby during Arthur's award ceremony. His theme is just pure joy. Hans Zimmer's score for this film doesn't get enough credit.

I'll be that person: I hope Laurel is real and back for good. Katie Cassidy was finally getting into her role when they killed her.

Well the little promo for BBB did the show no favors. That song clip is just the worst thing my ears have ever heard: "BYEE BYEE BIIIIR-HEEE!" Take a fucking breath, Ann-Margaret.

I did notice that ad. Looks like NBC is really going all in with J Lo. They've also got another season of her cop show coming in 2017.
