I think the chemistry among the cast (save for Leena) kept that show afloat longer than you're giving it credit for.
It wasn't a particularly memorable show- certainly not a sci-fi classic- but whenever I had a new adventure with Pete and Mycah on my DVR, I was excited to watch.

All the cynical things people are saying ("this is superfluous," "Watson isn't that great an actress," "another live-action remake that will be 75% CGI," etc) are true,

Erlich is swinging dangerously close to Barney Stinson territory. If they don't knock him down a peg soon and keep him there, I'm not going to be able to enjoy him as a character anymore.

"It's the first Thanksgiving since grandma died. We're even doing it at her house. Well, my house. It still feels so weird to say that."

Her dishing out food while processing the news of Jonah was gold.

I'm one of the folks who finds Armisen grating most of the time, but this was truly a great episode. It helped that he didn't do any of his annoying characters too.

Oh yes. Jason and Jack were great. The two extremes of Whit's nature in his son and his best friend.
I was listening last night to the episode where Eugene finally becomes a Christian… and man, it still does a number on me.

I'm right there with you, man. I'm actually re-listening to a lot of the older AIO stuff, and the series holds up well. Particularly the "Darkness Before Dawn" arc.

"Vespa sidecar! IT'LL BE OUR INSIDE JOKE!"

"Laugh it up, fuzzball."

Omigosh I did! You're so right! Go for Oh!

Forgiveness,
Is more than sayin' sorry
Forgiveness,
Means accepting peoples flaws
To forgive is devine
So lets have a glass of wine
And have make up sex
until the end of time, time, time..

The core cast on this show are fantastic young actors. The kids who play Jasper, Raven, and Clarke especially.

As someone who didn't really see the drop in quality that everyone else did this season, this finale cemented The 100's place as another truly great, yet little-watched, sci-fi show (ala Fringe, Firefly, etc).

For real. Her monologue to the shooter had me on the edge of my seat.

Hey, thanks! I've been watching this show from the beginning. It was kind of my "first" "grown-up" show that I chose to keep up with, so it holds a very dear place in my heart. Glad to know others appreciate it like I do.

Oh, and where do we sign the petition to keep weekly coverage of this show next season?

And it's not half-bad, either. The music was smartly picked, it makes (some) sense within the plot, and everyone's voices sound okay to great.

Season two of Grey's Anatomy should be studied in film schools for how near-perfect it is in story and character from start to finish. So it's got that going for it.

I'm still in the middle of it, but HOLY GOD Sarah Drew is making me fucking believe. Her strangled cries are making me shiver.
