Second to that, I plopped 32 GBs of RAM into my NUC7i5 and it screams now. Head and shoulders above the 8 GB I had in there before.

Forget the MOV power strips altogether and get something that actually deals with power fluctuations and surges properly: a sinewave filter. The ones from ZeroSurge are the best. Pricey, but the best insurance you can buy, and even protect against a direct lightning strike. I know from first-hand experience.
+1 for cable sleeves. Much cleaner looking than zip ties. I dropped all zip tie usage for sleeves and it looks much better; friends even comment and a few have made the switch after seeing mine. So yeah.
No snorkel? They’ve got balls, man. I’d never do that without a snorkel.

gl21133, you can get a gently used DSLR for 4x to 5x less than you can buy a smartphone. B&H photo has a huge selection of used DSLR kits that come ready to shoot - lens, bags, hoods, filters, etc. If you get one that’s a generation or two old, you’ll save a lot of money. Honestly for $200 you can ‘get it all.’
