Front reminds me of the TVR Speed 12
In high school a girl I spent a lot of time with had an MG midget, I always suspected her dad bought her that because it was impossible to commit any shenanigans in that car.
Missed that! Welp, he'd probably just whine about it on Twitter then. Not like anyone cares about his opinion on cars.
Former GM Industrial Engineer here: Yep, I can confirm we had “fitters” last time I worked there in 1999, so this isn’t an Eastern Block thing. They mostly worked the doors.
Yes, they exist, with various levels of manufacturer support.

The Metris is RWD.
My current car may be old, but it’s paid for, works fine, and does everything I ask of it. Why would I want to take on a car payment? In a couple of years I may be in a different boat, but in the meantime I can bank what I’m not paying on a car note.

Everyone knows Trump sees Generals as incompetent.
It’d be like the Ram SRT-10 and Lightning were back in the day (wow I just used that phrase, am I old?) when I was in high school. They’d absolutely sell; there’s a big demographic of people who like weird incongruous vehicles like that.
A Hellcat powered truck can still be off-road focused. There’s no reason it has to be a street truck. And getting a 4x4 drivetrain that can handle the power shouldn’t be an issue.
I would think they would just bolt in the Trackhawk powertrain and skip having low range entirely. How many half ton truck owners ever use low range anyway? Very, very few. Those that do aren't the target market for a Trackhawk Ram anyway, right?
So, if the people with a green light drive through the intersection with horns blowing it would keep the light green?
A Prius AWD-e on a dolly would be a great way to top off any batteries. Like a giant Sturmey Archer dynohub only mildly more complicated.
