Related to this I was shocked at the depreciation on RVs and similar vehicles. It seemed catastrophic even to me who has owned German and British vehicles. 40% depreciation on RVs is common in the first year!

the question you should be asking is why do the trucks cost so much. the additional metal is not the reason. they make high margin on them and that margin is what brings the cost up so much. well and of course Union scandals and upper management scandals I would guess. But since people are buying them the law of supply…
While I too hear top gun with that noise, others hear taco bell...
Ahh, Bill Brasky! That one quickly snowballed into Chuck Norris internet memes, then Jack Bauer, which is when it jump(kicked) the shark.
I dub that shifter ROD STERLING
Ha! My “blue steel” was riding around a traffic circle snd random roads for hours while the photographer took photos.
I’ve got an ‘88 Formula with the 5 speed and a re-worked 3.4L out of a GrandAm; I’ve eked out 25+mpg driving it carefully... But that’s not how it’s meant to be driven. It’s worth it. Get the Fiero, have fun while you’re on this earth. And think of it this way- it’s so tiny it’s easy to fit in any space you find to…
I’m seeing more of these every day in San Francisco. They’re often in the bike lanes going way too fast for conditions. I saw one t-bone a car and I sided with the car in my statement to the Police (the bike was weaving across lanes of traffic trying to avoid slowdowns). I bet I’d like riding an ebike, but I’m not…
...it wouldn’t get filled by a Fiero, but instead something with perhaps a truck bed or a charge port.
It’s a great car! I have a long history of Fieros.
And it’s a ‘70 Corvette. Not a 70' Corvette. I don’t think anyone would buy a 70-foot Corvette. If talking boats, a true warship would be much longer.
Might as well add an Opel Monterey to the mix, since it was the one I grew up with.
Its 200lbs less than the Pacifica Hybrid, still seems heavy for a JDM family van.
*batteries included. The 50 mile range battery used on a 2011 Chevy Volt is 435 lbs. Unfortunately, Ken doesn’t mention the battery only range on this unit, where battery weight is proportional to range. In truth, minivan sales for Nissan hasn’t been too good in the US. The Quest was discontinued and the NV200 hovered…
4700 pounds?
That would be a lot of fun for the 2 hours it would live before the whole car exploded like a bomb.
The only Beretta I’ve driven had an Eaton M90 sticking sideways through the hood. Doing an GIS I’m happy to report that at least 2 other people have done this:
My dad delivered propane from a truck carrying 5000gal of the stuff. His work clothes were polyester. I remember being horrified when he told us kids what would happen in a fire.
That...can’t possibly be intentional, can it?
