The upper car as the ROW “E code” headlamps, the lower has the US sealed beams. Lots of owners switch out the sealed beams for the flush fitting “E code” headlamps for the cleaner look.

While some people do incorrectly leave their high beams on all the time; Statistically people do not use their high beams enough. This is why auto high beam systems area good idea.

I don’t think so. While v8’s were available on the later Trailblazer-based trucks, I don’t think the Olds got them.
With the weather in Michigan, I wonder why headlamp washers aren’t more common on US cars? Some Bonnevilles, recent Cadillacs and Chrysler’s but no pick up trucks or current SUVs from the Detroit 3.
It’s hard to for an OEM to offer a brush guard because they often block the mandated lights. This WJ bar solves this, but it does look weird.
They will strategically focus their resources on lifestyle accessories at high margins for maximum returns for their shareholders.
