Can’t we stop subsidizing carbon based energy and put the money towards reducing emissions for the US military (one of the largest polluters in the world)?
why not both.gif
For some reason this reminds me of the Bill Brasky SNL bit:
AWD hybrid fiero for $2000. No excuses! :-)
There are panic stop lamps in Europe. If the decel is high enough additional red lamps flash. The US requires brighter stop lamps than Europe so sometimes we have more illuminated bulbs/LEDs than ROW.
I test rode a Surly Big Easy cargo bike and It was fantastic but it’s 3x the value of my car. If I had an urban commute again I’d consider it but it’s so flat here that I’d probably stick with a non-assist bike.
Was modeling like Zoolander in any way?
Ending gas subsidies would be a start, and redirect the funds into infrastructure or fuel efficiency for the US military, which I believe is one of the largest buyers of fuel worldwide.
Hoodwinked.
And it’s a ‘70 Corvette. Not a 70' Corvette. I don’t think anyone would buy a 70-foot Corvette. If talking boats, a true warship would be much longer.
Wikipedia knows more than me about it, but there wasn’t a low range like the part time systems. It might be similar to what was in the AWD Astro and Safari vans.
To be fair the bravada did have a Smart Trak AWD system instead of the more conventional 4x4 system of chevy and GMC’s. But the statement is still a stretch.
Man, my dreams went from buying a boat to a fun car to bicycle after buying a house...
Its 200lbs less than the Pacifica Hybrid, still seems heavy for a JDM family van.
4700 pounds?
Haha, I think he went from the 3.1 to the 3.4, and then the automatic went and he installed a 5 speed. IIRC he just got lifetime warranty axles from autozone and replaced them each year.
The only Beretta I’ve driven had an Eaton M90 sticking sideways through the hood. Doing an GIS I’m happy to report that at least 2 other people have done this:
I saw an isetta with a Corvair motor in Detroit. It looked like a riot death mobile.
It needs “Texas Edition” badges too. Which I thought was unique until I moved to Minneapolis and there’s “Northland Edition” trucks here. (Basic trim with Heated cloth seats, rear defroster, a little chrome).
