Section 232 was in the works 24+ months.

Maybe your seat is taller with more knee bend? Or you have a long torso? Our B5 Passats need to have the front seat pretty upright and somewhat forward with a rear facing child seat.

True not a HD, but they did have a hybrid GMT800 with a Ac generator.

The grab handle vendor must have given them a quanitity discount.

The Outback praise is justified IMO because it’s a great balance for a family of 4 that does family things without the costs of heavier and larger crossovers. It’s the truest and cheapest wagon that can fit a rear facing baby seat and a front passenger that’s 5’7”.  When our old passats are done, a 2014+ outback is

yeap, except I think you meant separate cylinder heads, not blocks.

VW made a VR5 for Europe, too.

1.5L flat 3 cyl turbo for emissions?

Isuzu Impulse.

Golf and Passats of this era could be bought with “1BB” suspensions from the factory. Did they make that for the TT? Its supposed to be the rough road suspension with a 3/4" lift. Comes with taller springs, thicker shocks, longer lower control arms I think.

My college roommate had a massive coffee table book of the F1, I think you’d like it.  I think it’s called Driving Ambition.

True, but they want to sell them overseas. Its the same reason Ferrari and others are reducing displacement and adding turbos. I’m surprised GM make it a 4.2 liter instead of a 4.0 unless they can destroke it for China. Paying 80% of a car’s value in taxes each year because of 200cc’s?

I think the Stars and Stripes have faded to white in the sun anyway.

Possibly true, but they would be hammered by displacement taxes in export markets with a big NA engine.

In some countries there’s weird laws benefitting slow cars w narrow tracks. There are conversions for normal cars in Germany.

Industrial engineer here, clearly a spaghetti diagram of product flow.
