You had the correct answer regarding Leia. Heroic off-screen death is the only real option. The actor and character are more synonymous than any in history (Nimoy as Spock is likely a close second). It would take a world class idiot to think recasting would work for this.

I don’t think anyone actually thinks “A Dream of Spring” will ever happen (RR included), so i’m mostly just hoping that Winds of Winter gets completed at some/any point, and that there is enough closure for the readers to mostly fill in the gaps of what happens to the characters.

I thought the same thing.....and I watched parts of last night’s game.

I feel like Pip is the easy one because of the Thanos/Cosmic-Marvel ties.
But it does feel a little “on the nose”, considering that Pip and Tyrion are almost the same character.

Seriously though, cheap money grab aside, this could be surprisingly good. Bendis has written a whole, whole, whole, whole lot of bad stories, but... he really revitalized Cage, he is wholly responsible for JJ, and his DD run is considered one of the best ever with the character.

Bendis really should take a victory lap for Luke Cage. That character was a laughing stock that he made acceptable/popular by just relentlessly including him in everything he wrote.
