I can see Sony offering a 4K option on the PS4 to sell TVs and pros who need games on big screens. But replacing the PS4? Which is selling by the crate? Nah.

I’m sure Sony’s working on this, but we ain’t gonna see it for at least another two years.
If I were running Valve’s PR department, I’d announce a major game April 1st, but only to five sketchy sites, and watch the chaos unfold.
Yeah, IANAL, but I was part of a group of people that got sued once for pretty much this, and this guy is repeating every mistake that the suing party made in that particular case. I predict this case will either be quickly dropped or thrown out with prejudice.
Every fucking year, I see an FB post complaining that it’s insensitive to call it an Irish car bomb, from somebody who isn’t from Ireland. So who’s the bigger dickhead, the guy ordering a drink that makes light of a brutal civil war, or the guy outrage-farming it for an emotional high?
My high school PE teacher, before we ran the mile, made everyone take a shit. Anybody who didn’t shit before shat after, that was for sure.
On one level, sure, OK, you want to give stage magicians government grants, you go right ahead. Honestly, the history of stage magic can be some fascinating stuff, deeply entwined in cultural traditions of stagecraft, and I’d agree that’s worth preserving.
My wife’s close friend is a doctor, and his gynecological rotation was, by his own account, a nightmare. It’s not an erotic context, and generally women only show up when they absolutely have to, so you’re either mechanically doing the same thing over and over again, or you get to learn just how long a human being…
For side missions like uplink and encounters like viral data collections, don’t press the button until you’ve scouted the whole area. Picking off the enemies before you have to platform makes these missions a lot easier.
As a lifelong pedestrian, I see everybody (drivers, motorcyclists, bicyclists, fellow pedestrians) do stupid shit constantly. Recently, after a snowstorm, I saw a guy who’d only half-cleaned his windshield (as in, the pedestrian side had a huge pile of snow on it) driving while talking on his phone with one hand.
Part of the issue is, I think, those board games are relatively easy to adapt, and thus cheap, and thus popular.
Yeah, I find them useful for precisely that reason.
I’ve said this elsewhere, but is there any particular reason they couldn’t just drum Trump out of the party? Primaries aren’t legally binding. They’ve got plenty of basis to argue Trump is unqualified to run, and they’ve been pounding the nail that he does not represent the GOP pretty hard. Why not just pull the…
Yeah, not that it matters to Nintendo since they sell everything at a profit, but...
Xbox 360 sales three years after release: 14.8 million
Man, Microsoft just needs to do nothing but compare the Xbox One to the Xbox 360. The XBO has bulldozed its predecessor in every possible metric. Yeah, Microsoft is technically #2 in the race, but in this situation, it’s like being the second guy to find a gold mine.
They don’t care. At all. It’s telling that for all of Apple’s fad chasing they couldn’t care less about VR, frankly.
It does, but another thread King is exploring is what drives a rational person to do irrational things. King really doesn’t make any bones about it: The Omega Men are terrorists. And King doesn’t justify their actions, but he does make it clear why they think these actions are acceptable.
It’s kind of amazing this series not only got published, but wasn’t routed to Vertigo. It’s been excellent so far, and an interesting companion piece to “The Sheriff of Babylon”, his Vertigo series.
I can see it being a problem in the sense that streamlining PC and XBO development must be severely tempting to multiplatform devs. That said, though, MS is also trying to streamline porting to their consoles, soooo
