Did you get Tearaway Unfolded? Sony let Media Molecule write that memo. Damn, it was funny.

It works in context because the fundamental point is Fury doesn’t quite get that the problem isn’t a riot or a few bad apples, but a fundamental flaw in the system.

Pretty apt for a book set during the Silver Age starring a villain from the Silver Age, no?

I really liked this issue myself. David F. Walker, who wrote a Shaft series just before this that I highly recommend, really does a good job of exploring racism without being preachy... which is kind of amazing in a book where they use the freakin’ Hate-Monger.

These dudes want a woman who will lie there for five minutes and then lie about how great it was.

“Unfuckable Human Beings Angered To Discover People They Hate Are Fuckable.”

HE’S REFENESTRATING!

When Cinematic Titanic did it, one of the cast heard the title and ran away screaming as the opening gag.

He is fairly right-wing, but he’s often playing up his politics for laughs on Twitter. Hell, he was head writer on the show for most of its run and had to work closely with Frank Coniff, who’s relatively left-wing; clearly he’s professional, at the least.

It’s a direct prequel, Ridley. Stop pretending it’s not a direct prequel. It’s a direct prequel.

Honestly, whenever I see Grayson in his tactical outfit, I mutter to myself “LANAAAAAAAAAA!” And apparently the creative team finds the Archer jokes hilarious...

Yeah, how shocking that we evolved to associate “bitter” with “poison” and now suddenly that’s unappealing.

Lord Hobo has a great beer list, but that’s its only redeeming feature. If you want beer you’ve never tried and can’t get anywhere, else, Bronwyn is just a mile or so away and serves an enormous number of German beers.

Honestly, between the name, the can design, and the fact Lord Hobo is involved, I can’t do it. It’s just too much concentrated Beer Douchebag.

“what if I told you the Imperial Beer Dink Overlords give it a mere 70 points, which is lower than they rate PBR (83), Miller High Life (80), and Fucking Milwaukee’s Best Fucking Ice (75)?”

That’s immediately where my mind went to, which is good, since that character was one of the few highlights of that show’s first season.

Oh, good, I’m glad Gotham is working in more dark humor. I remember watching the second episode and my jaw dropping at Lili Taylor’s bit with the blind thug.

There’s also that whole pesky “We, uh, we’re kinda not entirely sure what it does to the brain” thing you’d have to get out of the way first. That’s kind of a big hurdle you’re just kinda scootching around there.

Weirdly, they’re going realistic here: A whole bunch of groups are calling themselves “HYDRA” and taking whatever resources from the original they can grab for their own gain/weird ends. Ward just happens to be the most focused.
