My XL served me wonderfully. Yes, the hinge cracked eventually. But not nearly as quickly as my DS Lite. Games looked just fine on it. Got a New 3DS Xl and it's as good and better, but I loved my XL and consider this an extension rather than a replacement.

Ever since the XL has been a thing I've exclusively went that route. The lower pixel density has never been a deal breaker to me as it's barely noticeable to me. It isn't just the Majora's Mask 3DS, it was the whole line of New 3DS models (and Monster Hunter 4 for that matter). I couldn't believe how few could be had on launch day.
