There are a LOT of people out there that make very little money. Plus, you are on Jalopnik, and want people to buy sensible cars? What kind of car do you own?

If you think they have 15 right now, I’ve to a bridge to sell you.

Boomers are not all conservative, you dope. Ageism is bigotry, too.

You think $35k for a bare bones truck is a good price? The trucks on the lot likely start in the mid $40s. These days the only way you get that price is to buy them twenty at a time. Full size trucks have full size prices.

Single cab Taco will last forever.

Tacomas are less money, more reliable, do the job, and are not so ugly.

Such an elitist article. There are a whole lot of people in this country who would give their left testicle for that house. It is not ugly. It looks a lot nicer than the houses I grew up in, or stayed in most of my life.

Welcome to corporate America, where the rich get richer, and the rest of us pretend to live in the best place in the world.

Fits those groceries just fine, my man.

You got a lot wrong here. First, what you are showing (an underground sensor, near the stop line) is the exception, not the rule. Underground sensors went out in the 1980s. And when they were common, it more common for people to pull PAST the line, and thus miss the sensor, which is normally not on the line (like your

I wonder if these people will ever learn.

As you can see by both the comments, and the thumbs you are in the minority. People like you are the reason everyone thinks cops are corrupt. You might want to look inward.

The Wagoneer has a truck frame, the Outback is a car. That’s two different design standards. Trucks are designed to drive about 80% more miles. When I did auto design it was 100k miles for cars, and 180k miles from trucks - something like that. The Jeep Wagoneer was a great vehicle, and more reliable than the Outback.
