It’s called biting the hand that feeds you. Some of these conservatives never learn.
I was thinking Australian Outback serial killer.
Ask him why people never get spacial disorientation when they fly simulator aircraft. People use more than just their eyes to drive.
Do these people have any idea how often AI gets it wrong? It’s worse than the local news talking about a subject you have expertise in. Its designed to sound good, not be correct.
Don’t wash in the sun is because they skipped any coating on the stainless steel. Turns out the sun can stain your stainless steel. Actually is just hard water stains, that won’t come out unless you buff them out with power tools. Have fun with your truck.
The smartest engineer in my graduating class never drove. She didn’t even have a license AFAIK. She also got one of the highest paying jobs (at 3m, when they were not hiring). She was a lot smarter than me, because a year latter she quit engineering entirely. That was in 1992.
What about the warranty void part? Does your Land Cruiser have that too?
My 2012 Camaro with a 6 speed is left and up for reverse. My 2011 5 speed Tacoma is left and down, iirc.
Really? You think people will make parts for these? My friend, I’ve got a bridge I’m selling...
Good luck finding parts once something breaks, and be confident that something will.
I think it’s safe to say the engineers did not make this vehicle easy to worked on. That thing looks like it would be a nightmare to access. Note to myself, never buy one of these things.
Were there any acorns involved?
Oh please. I was driving 50 years ago, so I remember. My first car was a VW I turned into an off road vehicle. My first motorcycle over 50 years ago was a dirt bike. The desire to get off road has been around for a lot longer than 50 years. I mean just look at what people did with the Willy’s jeep after WW2.
I’m 62, and I drive a single cab, 4 banger Tacoma with a manual.
Emerson does it too. I was designing heater control panels for both Toyota, and Chrysler - at the same time.
I guess Musk fucked around, and found out.
“Sure, it’s a ridiculous test that no one’s ever going to replicate in real life...”
I think $78k is about what my buddy bought a house for in the early 80s. Only his rate was 18%. Yea. House loans were that high in the early 80s.
It’s all tax payer’s money, my friend. He is working off government grants. This money could be going somewhere it is doing good. A dead giveaway is when he was making a big deal out of 300 series stainless steel. It is pretty much the lowest grade of SST available, yet he had all his fans acting like they are retired…
