People weren’t driving during the pandemic lockdowns... many are still driving far less than before as they remain working from home... Less gas use, less maintenance needs overall due to less wear and tear. People should be comfortable waiting longer to buy another car no?

They ride well but sag like crazy with payload or heavy trailers. Leafs are better for towing. 

If you need to tow more than say... 9000-10,000 pounds reliably for any distance you should likely buy a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.  Tow rating should be your issue on today’s 1/2 tons... Payload is.

40k miles of riding with phones on mounts. Four+  years with iPhone 5s... Never an issue. Used two different ram mounts this whole time. Phone in sun baking, shaking and never an issue across four, maybe five  phones now.

Doing that on the wrong side of the country in Turkey could get you killed - Pretty high odds, but you do you.
