Owned a Lancer turbo. I loved that car. Had a shit load of go from zero to 60 at the time... over 60 it petered out. Was a fucking maintenance nightmare too... But I miss that car.

I was in love with the Stealth Twin Turbo RT. I remember one commercial where they a quietly filing around the car in a hanger or on the tarmac somewhere and then they basically drop the clutch and all four wheels break loose as it pulls away. Back then that seemed impressive.
I loved the styling and always wanted one…
Look for one with the tow package as that will have the controller... You can always add a factory or after market one, so it isn’t that big of a deal. I’d personally find a truck with the tow package as that usually nets you the controller, but not always... and the additional transmission cooler, default “better”…
You don’t say how big the camper is, but the 4Runner is spec’d at a 5000 pound towing limit... So either you are close to that limit or over it to some degree.
BEEF JERKY.... Truck stop beef jerky.
You only get your bag back on jetways or tarmacs when flying regional jets. Gate check when you are flying on a large jet and it goes to baggage claim.
The top 100 executives don’t equal $600 million dollars in pay and benefits do they?
“what is the ideal down payment for a car loan?”
Think it has more to do with the construction of the interstate highway system, and affordable air travel relegating rails to mostly freight service than just steam to diesel.
Had a 99 3.9 liter V6 sport extended cab. It was a fantastic truck though I did have a new short block put in at 3850 miles due to a bad knock ( 3.9's and 5.2's had some piston issues back during that batch. Had the control arms replaced early too as Dodge had issues with them and the ball joint were integrated to the…
Or his equipment had an issue... The tractor or the trailer. It can happen and given he did actually use the ramp he may have very well been a skilled driver who’s equipment had a very bad day through no fault of his own.
Screw the small engine generator.... Make it a truck with the current range of towing 10-11k. That makes it attractive to all and the MPG savings would be significant. Half my yearly mileage on my truck is ten mile round trips... the rest is towing. That type of system would save me a shit ton in gas considering I…
Speaking from personal experience with my trucks... A lot. Yeah, lots of home depot runs, but I also have camper and car hauler that gets half my yearly miles towing... SO I will be moving up to a 250/350 class soon.
GM is nowhere near in the race as Ford is. Rivian has been using the Ford bodies as test mules already.
IF GM was smart they would adapt the voltec design from the Volt to their trucks creating a PHEV truck. The margin is there in the truck segment to accommodate the extra cost/complexity of Voltec. A truck that could…
Not just racing. Outdoor music festivals are also a shit show. Not just by rednecks either...
Yeah... So my daughter has a bladder the size of an elephant and can go all day... Weirdness there.
Yet most people charge at home or work. Shit, last weekend I charged for free at the zoo. You take road trips daily with the kids that exceed 300+ miles though so you are legit.
I never suggested they didn’t know what they were doing, but given gains in efficiency over the past several years perhaps they were ok making compromises in the interest of styling?

All these wide gaping grills... Curious as to how those impact aerodynamics and efficiency? I have to image that even with active shutters, a smaller snout would help with the MPG at higher speeds?
