Embellish much?

I have friends with volts who primarily commute with it and fill it up twice a year. They add stabilizer to the tank. Still, even if you fill it up every few months, trust me - the gas will be fine. Oil changes don’t have to actually happen once a year if it is primarily used as an EV.  There is less

I love this... Well I love it for the exact same reason. Flaws aside, choice is great. I’ve been eyeing a 2nd gen volt and their resale numbers are getting attractive. I wish the Clarity had a bit more range, but bets are a refresh will take care of that.

Walmart has indeed legally closed 5 stores over labor activism. “Legally” might be a play on words, but apparently they do it and get away with it - at least in the US. They did that with one in Canada and it was ruled illegal.

I read it as “Give us a chance to improve it and if we don’t then we won’t stand in the way of unionizing” That is fair. Could have been said differently, but that is how I took it.

The reality is, Tesla can simply expand manufacturing to other states or countries to get around the union thing. They can even set up a

No you aren’t. Our charter is more diverse than the local school. Go figure. Our state requires a blind lottery. The child is given a number and the school lottery doesn’t know the race, ethnicity, whether the family is poor or not, etc when selecting new enrollments. Ours is more diverse because children from outside

I want the NP-241 transfer case out of it.

From my own research the charters that are run as “non-profits” are the ones to stay far away from.

The one our daughter is in is owned by NHA which is the largest Charter operator in the US. They had some issues back in the late 90's and early 2000's though. Those were the early days and mostly in Michigan - Michigan

You highlight the issue though. The individual states set their own criteria and oversight for Charters.  They are public schools in that they are free, they are paid for with public funds and here in NC they have to follow the same curriculum as the public schools. Our local public school system sucks here. If we

4/5 HUH? Where the fuck are those made up stats from?

NC has has 173 Charter schools. Thanks to proper oversight our closure rate is relatively low.

Nationally the closure rate is just about 3% per year.

We put between 6000-8000 on the wife’s sedan yearly. I put about 6000 on my F-150 yearly. Motorcycle gets about 5000-6000 miles though those are touring trips I wouldn’t take the car or truck on anyway.

We live in the suburbs and in an area that has everything we need just within a few miles from home. Neither one of

“You can’t engineer automated factories with charter school dropouts”

Have a friend that only fills up once every nine months or so. Her commute to work is about forty miles round trip and she does it all on battery.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

Hate to say it but a boat actually might be a better investment... Not by much, but might just be.

I don’t find the sewage part of it messy at all. Wear some gloves and flush the tank out really good and you generally don’t smell anything bad or touch anything bad.

Only dirty time I had once was on old camper when the black water tank gate tube had a crack in it... and that was minor and an easy fix.

It’s funny as I

“First, it’s pretty cheap, and relatively maintenance free”

They are depending on state. NC for example wacks you property tax on all RVs... Even pull behind trailers.

Pretty sure dependent on state, the state assesses a property tax. Here in NC I pay one for my camper every year.

Pooping and peeing in my camper is one of the most satisfying aspects of camping for me. There are plenty of places I travel to that I wouldn’t want the RV, but there are some family trips and memories we make that simply wouldn’t be the same with out it.

Building a house in three years on property we just bought... Powerwall is in the plan currently.  Hopefully by then they will have ver 3 out... maybe ver 4?
