My interactions have all been good except for the recent attempt to charge me $35 for disposal of rags and use of some brake cleaner. All they did was turn the rotors while on the vehicle as they do now-a-days. Doubtful that it took more than a squirt of brake cleaner or much in the way of rags. Had them remove it

I use the seat of my pants measurement... And that coincidentally is where I keep my wallet. I know what comes in and what goes out.

True... We didn’t do day care. True, my wife doesn’t work (much). I make enough she can stay at home and work substitute teaching assignments. All that said, I don’t find raising a kid

Yes... That revocation of an Obama era executive order only impacts those collecting social security where someone else was managing their social security and other financial issues. Obama felt it wise to prevent senior citizens who might not have all their mental capabilities anymore from buying weapons. Of course...

“ the average cost of a kid before college is $250,000"

Having one kid... I disagree with that figure. Not sure where they come up with that shit.

This. Case in point... My current F-150 gets about 6k miles on it per year.... and half of those miles are towing. I probably tow more than a shit load of other truck owners who bought their trucks for towing. She is a pig on gas when towing. I average 16 MPG and maybe my best HWY is 20 MPG empty. This diesel F-150

Pssst.... Ford! Still a sedan family here.

Thank you. Appreciate the suggestion. Truth be told, probably only 3 to 4 highway trips a year so the Volt fits our use case well.

The federal incentive still isn’t enough to validate buying new for me... I can afford it, but with the two year olds being dirt cheap...

Pete... I cashed in my Tesla Model 3 RSVP as the more I researched and thought about things, the Volt seemed like the best fit for us. While I really hate GM (currently own GM sedan) I’m leaning towards a used Gen 2 Volt later this year if the prices are right. Seems I can find two year old Volts all day with low to

Agreed....NC here, but I have used AC in seats even up north in the summer. AC in seats helps keep you from getting drowsy on long drives... It also allows you to keep cool enough when your wife is typically the one bitching that the AC is too high in the vehicle.

Real men build storage shelves and keep shovels and rakes in the shed... That they built. - By hand.

I have heated seats in my F-150... Rarely use them. Wife’s sedan lacks them... and she and I don’t notice their missing.

Profit is a byproduct?

$600 Divorce? Winner!

Wouldn’t require an amendment. All it would require is congress willing to accept a bill written by the people and make it their own without adding their typical bullshit onto it.

More importantly it would take a congress that is scared shitless about being voted out due to not complying with that request... and we’ll

Yep... They go bad. Just bought a new one a few months back. This house eats one about every two years.

Three words... Air Impact Wrench. I never knew how much effort and time having one would save me... Wished I had one for years and finally bought a good high torque 1/2 gun off Amazon that went on sale. So far it has helped tear apart a Dana 44 front end and remove spindle nuts, yoke nuts, ball joints and press them

Go fuck yourself. An actress willingly sleeping with another actor whose career was on the way up? Yeah, I’ll get right on shedding a tear for her just like the Weinstein accusers who years after he raped them had no problem being seen arm in arm with him. Yes, I know that is victim shaming, but optics are optics.

You can change this up all you want... You still get a rash of results showing idiots who think it should be rape.

“Touchless is an entirely different thing, where literally only soap and water contact your car, and then a giant blower to dry it afterwards.”
