Very true. I do only criminal defense, and I will very willingly tell people I will not handle their divorce/custody/suing the police.

It depends a lot on what type of law; corporate is going to be handled very differently from divorce. I do criminal defense, so in that sense, I personally deal directly with the potential client from the very first contact.

I carry a police, but I prefer the plain edge and G10 scales.
