In my opinion, stock is the best look for these cars. I hate the fixed-headlight fascias that everybody seems to retrofit to theirs, it’s so ugly.

It took a really long time to get people to wear seat belts, which are far less inconvenient than masks. And seat belts also benefit the wearers so it’s easier to get all the selfish idiots to wear them. But to convince the morons to wear a mask for a few minutes to help protect others? No freakin’ way!

Go really fast? It’s true that exceeding the speed limit by a little bit won’t help get you there much faster, but if you sustain triple digits for a good amount of time it’ll cut off a few hours. That depends on your car and your own morals, of course.

I’ve always liked the MK4 Jetta and Golf, I just wish they weren’t FWD. A guy from ECS Tuning built a RWD converted Golf with a BMW V8 in it and it’s awesome.

Nah, I’ll just keep driving my 225k-mile 525i. It’s slow as sin but it’s a lot more engaging to drive than any new BMW.

Ha! For what it’s worth, most of my customer BMW’s log tons of miles between each service, and when they’re well-maintained I actually don’t see them too often. With my own BMW’s I usually fix them faster than they break so they’re usually on the road 99% of the time.

Haha am I that blatant of a BMW fanboy?

I just don’t see any enjoyment in driving with the windows down for normal driving... my hair just goes everywhere, it’s super noisy, and dust/dirt/flies get in. I’d rather keep the windows up and let my climate control system do its thing with its nice new activated charcoal cabin filter.

I love it, honestly.

Yeah, it’s a funky-looking hatchback design that’s aged surprisingly well, all things considered. Mine is red too, which was the thing that drew me to it. It’s aggressively base but it still has heated seats, Bluetooth, USB + aux in, cruise control, power everything, etc. Really not a bad little car, and it being a

Living in Scottsdale, AZ, that applies to here as well. All the scammy club promoter and multilevel marketing types drive new Maseratis and Lambos, whereas the old money people who have just quietly earned it (or inherited it) drive well-used older cars and don’t shout about it. Like I remember seeing a pristine

New cars are often easier to get than used cars... when my old Hyundai was dying I desperately needed a car so my girlfriend and I could get to our jobs (we carpooled at the time). Used car dealers didn’t want to deal with us due to our nonexistent credit and lack of down payment money, but Hyundai happily put us in a

None of the current supercars do anything for me, but this is awesome. I love the smooth styling, I love the lack of wings, I love the NA V12, I love the manual transmission, I love the light weight, and I love the focus on driving experience above all else. Too many supercars focus on being flashy or bragging about

Same thing happens to my phone, hence why I have a case.

It’s got a black leather interior, it’ll be fine. That’s the nice thing about leather, it’s pretty easy to clean. Vinyl wipes off pretty easily as well.

Savings? You mean there are people out there that aren’t living paycheck to paycheck and using bank overdrafts as short term loans to pay rent? Crazy.

People love to talk shit about German car reliability, but I’ve bought 30 year old BMW’s with 200k+ miles and all original suspension components and have never had a suspension failure like that— and I drive my cars like a jackass.

If anybody thinks that Republicans actually give a shit about people after this pandemic, they must be deaf/blind/mentally challenged. It’s insane to me that a disease was politicized, what has this damn country come to...

I love manual transmissions and I’m definitely part of the problem, because I only buy used shitboxes that are $2000 or less. That’s just being a car enthusiast in a nutshell.

I audibly shuddered at the thought of “Litwood.”
