Just watched the trailer. Is that really what Smith thinks Canadians sound like? The accents sound Scottish without the rrrrrrr's.

Sally Ride… Man, with that name, she knew her future was either in NASA or porn.

I'm more partial to the Kristy Swanson movie, myself.

Wait…

I suppose this moment proves, conclusively, that Jack Palance did not read the wrong name (Marisa Tomei) for Best Supporting Actress back in 1993.

I wanted to like Pain and Gain, especially knowing it was Bay's attempt to make a "smaller" movie after a mediocre Transformers and its shitty sequel, but its over-the-top stereotypes and sexism was such a turn-off.

Bummed that I have to wait until next year, but I'm looking forward to this one. Jaume Collet-Serra's a solid B-movie director, and I liked his three Liam Neeson collaborations (and The Shallows) way more than Taken.

I was always defending her during the Twilight years: "Have you seen Into the Wild?"

Frank Gehry: I came to Springfield [to build you a concert hall] because of this little girl's letter!
Marge Simpson: I wrote that letter!

Marge: Well, aren't you?

Does she sing in it? 'Cause that would be awesome.

OK, seriously, the fact that Jimmy Neutron was nominated over Atlantis or Waking Life shows what a bunch of farquaads the Academy is.

Aren't paramedics only supposed to allow immediate family to ride with injured people to the hospital? How did Chechen Lolita get a pass?

That gold chain is a great prop. I'm not sure if it was intentional that it kept swatting her in the face like that, but it worked both as a sex-enjoyment blocker and a douchebag fashion accessory.

Yowza wowza bo-bowza!

The stripper looked only about a decade older than his daughter.

Is a Presidential recall election possible? If so, amend the Constitution and let's do this! Arnold 2017!

Given the enemies he's making in the intelligence community, I wouldn't be surprised if the CIA takes him out and makes it look like a heart attack or suicide.

C3PLo.

1994 was a big year for movies about bombers. In addition to Speed and The Specialist, another release that year was Blown Away, in which Jeff Bridges faces off against an IRA terrorist (Tommy Lee Jones) who somehow has never heard of U2.

Thanks to the remake, the 1991 Point Break is now the second dumbest movie with that title.
