Part 2 has some comic relief and nods to the 1984 version that are fun. This is a dramatic science fiction epic though so not a barrel of laughs.

Do not fear. The visual effects in Dune Part 2 are nothing like the shit Marvel turns out. The visual effects are stunning and are very effective in helping to tell the story.

Dune Part 2 will make a Billion dollars based on word of mouth. This is a spectacular film with an all star cast. 

I agree with you. I think based on Part 2, Villeneuve will take the opportunity to make character and story improvements while staying true to the spirit of the book. 

On social media I continually removing those types of comments, videos, etc. from my feed and I still see them. That is how prominent it is now.
