I agree with you. A re-cast would have been no big deal. I think maybe Marvel feels the storyline it too tainted by bad audience sentiment/boredom. Who knows, maybe it is still in the works but will be done in a completely different way than previously mapped out?

This is the weakest Emmy line up in years. The Crown?! The final 3 seasons were utter shit.

I do not object to nudity or full frontal in general. In the exact same scene we have Aemond fully nude and it makes sense for the story. The random blow job added nothing.

It is the dumbest take on this show.

Don’t forget the phenomenal Ann Dowd who elevates everything she is in!

That is not always the case...keep watching the show/following the story for more on dragon warfare.

I agree with you. It hurts to watch the dragons die when we know how special, intelligent, magical, and truly rare they are. Dragons are the fantasy equivalent of dogs. I don’t want to see the dragons die!

Sunfrye is an innocent victim. Poor young dragon 🐉 ❤️

It was definitely Daemon dressed as Aemond (hair, eye patch, etc.).

She was! The bank job must have paid very well.

Oh yes, the people responsible for growing and delivering all human life should be more independent while physically disabled/at a serious disadvantage while doing tasks such a lifting heavy objects. That makes total sense.

Yeah I mean why would we want to see the woman’s perspective of her own rape? sounds like a total waste of time.

Wow that is another level.

There is a different mood in season 3 that is emotionally really difficult and I think that is what people are responding to. I liked the season overall. There are some really special episodes. My favorites: episode 1, Tina’s standalone episode, ice chips, and the finale all come to mind for me. I am going to go and

I keep waiting for Francie Fak to show up. Nat has serious beef with her!

This should say “sire” not “siren.” Damn autocorrect.

I have never read that Abusive Chef as played by Joel Mchale, was supposed to be Keller. That is especially weird given that those events happen to Carmy in New York and The French Laundry is in California.

When they introduced Grover Tully’s name I had a nice chuckle remembering these names.

I did not understand the point of inserting that graphic of an image into the episode at all. We get it, they are in a brothel. Previously, I had thought this show was doing a bit better when it came to gratuitous depictions and then this scene made me re-examine that. It was so out of left field.

Excellent season! I have been reading these books for 30+ years and I love the adaptation. The show has made some really interesting creative choices which are different than the books but I feel honors the source material and spirit of the characters beautifully.
