I totally agree. The way that scene brought the entire history of Lestat and Louis together was phenomenal. The actors fucking brought it!

The events of The Vampire Lestat (that they haven’t shown yet) and the entirety of The Queen of the Damned, is going to set you TV on fire. It’s really the peek of the entire book series. Amazing characterization, so many vampires, history, and action packed scenes.

This was an excellent finale and a great season! I am so excited to see how they will adapt the rest of The Vampire Lestat and turn the corner into The Queen of the Damned. There are seeds of both of those books throughout season 1 and 2. Most of all, I just want to see Lestat’s perspective leading the show.

Armand is Daniel’s siren in the books as well though the relationship is entirely different.

The best restaurants do change the menu daily. The problem is that this team isn’t ready for that yet and Carmy is in such a terrible place mentally he isn’t thinking logically at all.

Exactly. There were also scenes of Carmy with IRL Thomas Keller at The French Laundry which the reviewer didn’t mention.

A Bryan Fuller project was cancelled? Color me surprised.

There is a fuck ton of intrigue and plot twists in addition to all the dragon battles. It’s a devastating story. Especially if they take the story all the way through the rest of the events of Fire & Blood.

You understand the story then! This war destroys the Targ family but it is the small folk that really suffer on a massive scale.

I totally agree. House of the Dragon needs it’s own music. I am glad the visual was updated for this season. Big improvement.

Did you not watch TV in the late 90s and early 2000s? Justin used a blaccent regularly.

I am ready for Lestat to enter next episode!

I loved part 2 of this season. It was a lot of fun and satisfying.

Benedict is going to be season 4.

I agree. I watched Hitman on Saturday and I enjoyed the movie up until the end which I found bizarre. I think more plot was needed to get to that as an end logically.

This is my favorite episode of season 2 thus far. I am glad the writers are finally getting into a more complicated relationship between Louis and Armand. This boring love story they were doing was not true to the source material at all.

Her parents are artists. Not the same thing as being actors, producers, etc.

I still haven’t recovered from the news that there will be a live action Moana.

The Rolling Stone article is worth reading. I appreciated the chronology it sets up for the events. These monsters hide in plain sight.

I do not know what movie you were watching but it couldn’t have been Anyone But You where Glen and Sydney were crushing it with their chemistry and star power. They practically resurrected the rom com genre with that movie.
