I was surprised as well. I have seen it twice already. Even more surprising was how much my husband also liked it. He watched it twice on his own with no inducement from me.

No. Just because a show is a comedy does not mean it gets a pass on extensive and non-sensual continuity errors. The best comedy shows on TV have a painstaking view of continuity because it allows for the cleverest jokes that hardcore fans can enjoy.
Yes. They need to keep the characters closer together or it leads to this nonsense of Randall flying to LA and back and then driving over to Philly and back to a New Jersey suburb all in a single day.
Tony is an anti-hero not a villain.
Yes, exactly. Robbie the creep is the bad guy along with the mean hotel owner.
This article and others like it about the Comedy Cellar specifically seem to really not understand the stand up comedy world or that venue. The Comedy Cellar has operated for YEARS as an incubator for comedy and it’s line up is determined by who has previously “passed” at the venue. There are certain comics who have…

Right, where is the lesbian couple? Im so confused.

Edith is exasperating on many levels.
I have not anticipated a movie this hard in years! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
Glitter was not good but its basically the same story.
Emma for me was a harder heroine to love but her good intentions and generous nature are only improved in her pairing with Mr. Knightly. He makes her a better person and I loved that aspect of that story. He is the only possible match for her. I think Mansfield Park is a hard more morally complicated story.
I adore Mansfield Park! I am surprised you don’t find Fanny to be a kindred spirit of your favorite Anne.
