Yes, but it’s fuel by a few of the same underlying factors that online multiplayer cheaters always do:

I don’t even feel sorry for this guy. Has he not heard the news? Read the Overwatch blog posts?

That felt fucking great to watch, I’m not gonna lie.

I swear if there is a room with a cake at center of the universe I’m done.

There’s a strong intersection between the type of dude who wants a brown turbo diesel manual wagon, and the type of dude who would fly 5000 miles on a whim to see a woman he’s only texted.

lololololololol, no.

I’ll never understand the ‘I can’t earn everything in the game, therefor I’m being cheated’ philosophy. Exclusive rewards for timed events are fine, and it doesn’t detract from your experience by not having every fucking skin for every hero.

I’m a level 16. I threw a Pokeball at a CP10 Pidgey. He got out. Threw 2 more. He got out and ran away.

If he knew what he was talking about he wouldn’t need analogies.

I honestly doubt you're a game developer if you somehow side with the people who have manipulated your work and created an unfair match system in which people take away the fun and skill involved with multiplayer gaming... This isn't a single player doom match played on God mode... It's competitive and fun and when

Look, you want to cheat in a single player game go to town. The devs will hand you the codes themselves. But the moment you cheat in a multiplayer game you’re depriving honest players of the experience they paid for. If you interfere with the product that other people paid their honest money for, the just and fair

“I’m not pro-cheating... I just don’t like a company banning people for cheating”

Hmm? Since when is not being able to use cheats ‘changing terms on the go’? It’s always against the rules. It’s not about control “after they got money”, it’s about creating a level playing field for everyone.

How is this different than other situations? If you go to a concert and act like a jerk, you can be kicked out without reimbursement. Same goes for sporting events. Or movies.

People are making a lot of assumptions based off datamined data, which really doesn’t mean a whole hell of a lot at the moment. Wait for official word from Bliz before calling to burn their house down.

Cuz they’re exactly what you said and winning on a virtual game for no stakes is the closer they’ll get to feel gratification in life, no matter the means.
Keep it dark!

Because they can and want the world given to them with no effort, and have the overly fragile egos to express it.

Right? The level of entitledness here is profound.

Wow. These people are frighteningly out of touch.
