Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers) gave testimony in Sony v. Universal that was key to Sony winning, and home recording being allowed. He testified that the VCR could be a useful tool for parents to record his show, and watch it later. Universal had argued that there was no legitimate use and that people would record shows so

Plus, if you grew up watching The Muppet Show, there’s the cute memory of Twiggy singing it with the Muppets during her guest slot.

I've Just Seen a Face is one of my favorite songs of all time (so sweet and happy), and I would have loved to have it for my wedding song but it’s got such a fast tempo. I tried to picture us on the dance floor and my visions looked like they were in fast forward.

You could try the song I used: “I’ve Just Seen a Face” by the Beatles. It’s upbeat, short, and sweet, and you can dance however you want to it (we tend to fake Charleston/swing types of moves).

This is how I go up a latter...

Remember Star Blazers? That’s what I watched as a kid during the early ‘80's, but only today do I realize what a totally horrid localization that series had. The voice actors were outright awful, the english singer(s)? they hired to replace the Japanese vocalist embarassing. I could go on and on. Oh, and the narrator

Not so lopsided when that little bitch of an eagle isn’t sucker punching one from behind:

For your viewing pleasure:

The best part is no longer having to use birth control!

Next up: Loss of hair in the usual places, and hairs in fun new places!

I enjoyed the UK series Rosemary & Thyme on Netflix. Gardeners who solve murder mysteries. Can’t beat that.

Have you watched Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries? It’s very stylish and breezy, set in 1920s Australia.

This is the thing I’m always trying to tell people who say they don’t get it: You don’t have to. Either it resonates with you or it doesn’t.

Hot take: u can't "mistake" something for art, it's viewer-defined

Most likely it should have been implores. It's still thesaurus abuse, but it is (or would have been) at least understandable.

“...what the social etiquette of galleries impedes the viewer to do”... wut?

Oh god, I just realized what the piece is about. It’s a long piece of wood that is not particularly comfortable. It’s a damn dick joke.

Considering that loads of modern and contemporary art is essentially about trolling the viewer/art establishment, this “art project” is a legit and kinda brilliant work of art. The meta just ads to this being a great sample for his art school application.

My wife got yelled at for sitting on a really crappy bench at a modern art museum that was actually just a really crappy piece of art.
