Thanks for the link, it’s good advice.

Fingers crossed, hope you’re right. Will the rule of law save us, yes/no?

I think the gun thing is different from investment banking and even tobacco. Guns are a quasi-religious issue for their enthusiasts at this point, so it’s more viscerally grass roots than the others. Sure, smokers griped about being made second-class citizens and there was a kind of movement about it, but smokers knew

Have you read the Rivers of London series? The protagonist, Peter Grant studies magic using the scientific method. Highly recommend these books.

Dorothy Dunnett does great historical fiction. I’d describe it as literary historical romance. The series I’m re-reading right now is The House of Niccolo (first book: Niccolo Rising). Boston had 105,000.

Update: the organizers announced we topped 105,000!

Boston, they’re expecting >60,000.

Capuano is a fiery leftist, and not afraid to show it. I hope he keeps his job.

Me too. Fellow odd and shy person here. Maybe it’s a function of the odd shyness?

I was living in Santa Barbara years ago and when fall came I had to fly home to MA.

If they have to perform, they should do it out of sync - kicking all ragged, falling down, and so on.
